Rowena Maiden is an advanced psychotherapist specialising in Adolescent, Family, and Couples Therapy. I support young people and their families through a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges, providing a safe, supportive, and accepting environment built on trust and confidentiality.
Rowena takes an integrative, evidence-informed approach, combining Person-Centred, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, CBT, Schema Therapy, and ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) techniques. Rowena has vast experience in Transactional Analysis and Behavioural Psychology, applying these approaches to help clients understand patterns, improve relationships, and develop practical coping strategies.
Furthermore, Rowena has extensive experience in adolescent psychotherapy and works collaboratively with parents, carers, and secondary schools to create a coordinated approach that supports young people across home, school, and social environments.

Rowena is currently about to complete a Master’s in Adolescent and Family Psychotherapy with Northampton University and has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams, integrating a broad range of professional insights into her main practice.
My Approach
Rowena provides therapy that is relational, integrative, and collaborative, ensuring clients feel supported and understood. She involves parents or carers where appropriate and works alongside schools to maintain a consistent and coordinated approach.
Whether working with adolescents, couples, or families, her practice is flexible and evidence-informed, helping clients navigate challenges, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop skills for wellbeing and resilience.
About Me
Rowena is married to Mark Maiden and a mother of two adult children. Together, they co-founded Angel Flight, providing free non-emergency transport to children and families affected by illness or mental health challenges. She has delivered keynote speeches, workshops, and parenting courses, including running parenting workshops for entire companies such as LinkedIn, and has worked in rehabilitation centres and life-equipping programmes.
